There is to be another series with "a new companion for Sunny." Don't see why they cannot give old Sunny a promotion and the 'newbie' can be his underling.
I believe Nicola Walker has taken on too heavy a workload to continue in the role, hence her character's demise.

We like Nicola Walker. She is a good actor, natural, not like some who say their part posing.

I like Nicola Walker too. She just looks normal to me without trying to look glam with her hair all done up.

I was watching Emmerdale last week and noticed how Harriets hair looked all perfect and clean despite being locked in the cellar for weeks.

I class myself as a 'normal' person but would not go anywhere with my hair greasy and unkempt. Theres a huge difference between over glamming a part and looking clean and tidy.

Wow! Bit late watching but what a fantastic series.
Nicola Walker's a great actress. The slightly unkempt and unwashed hair fitted so well with what the character she played was and had been going through....really surprised others couldn't see that...well maybe not that surprised.
No weak characters and brilliantly acted by all.
