Thursday. It's clear outside, but still a bit on the chilly side.
I'm still waiting to be called back to hospital, with a bit of luck they've forgotten me! :o}

I've got a new scooter being delivered today, one with a roof and fully closes in, I still have mine, which is not closed in, so I get wet when it rains, I'll have two to play with, depending on the weather :o} I'm not sure, but I think the new one has a heater too. Excellent! :o}

iim still here LJ, how are you this morning.
are you getting your AF sorted out?
Trying to. Had a phone call from a consultant at Derriford nearly 2 weeks ago and he outline 4 possibilities and said he would put it all in writing. Still waiting but I expect they are incredibly busy. Not to good at the moment as it has been giving me quite a bit of pain since las Monday. But hey, I'm still here. Takes me longer to do anything but I'm still around. How about you?,
gave me a scare that's for sure, AF is not good, but now i have the meds i guess that's me taken care of, though i will have to have bloods done in 3 months time. Can't fault the treatment at University College Hospital, they were very thorough, shame about being released unaided at 3am, but got home ok.
why is yours taking so long?
They have treated it with meds the last few years and increased dosage but still causing pain and treatment has to be in 2 counties as this one does not have facilities or medical staff and then put back as other hospital is main covid one for that county. also think I am fairly near the bottom in their treatment list. I am sure there are others in need of more important care than me.
but Af is quite serious, its not to be taken lightly, going on my talks with the doctor. Can lead to stroke, blood clots, not good at all
Yes I know all that. Have had several long chats with gp. Unfortunately covid took over, even though the incidence is low down here we do get a surge after every bank holiday and there are only about 8 beds for it in the whole county. 65% of the nearest village is either 2nd homes or holiday lets and in some places it is even more so so you can see the potential for increase.
