Facebook - Blocked Names Still Being Received

I have blocked several companies on FB but still keep getting their posts. I have checked everything and can't work out why. Two most persistent are Bakker (gardening) and Staedtler.
It's just annoying!

I didn’t think you could actually block ads.
You can hide them.
I gave up doing it when I realised it was pointless.
