Although I've seen some great street performers (especially some superb classical musician in Cologne), I've regrettably never seen any flash mobs at work. I've a feeling that this thread will generate quite a few YouTube links anyway though. This has to be my favourite, purely from the wonderful (and incredibly diverse!) reactions of the kids ;-)

Not only flashmobs, sandy. I would love to hear some of these street piano players - someone donates an old piano sometimes sited in a shopping mall or in retail premises and anybody can sit down and play. Some of the videos I have seen are truly amazing and show terrific performers who may be totally self taught.
