I;m due a new card in May and I do not want Contactless. People have told me I will have to ACCEPT Contactless. Last time bank did send me Contactless but I contacted them and told them to send me non-contactless. Will I be able to do this time. that reads like a riddle

Haven't you got a tablet? You could install the app on that and save yourself a trip to the bank or the hassle of a phone call
I have a 'contactless' card for over a year and have only used it as a normal debit card.Just because your card is contaclless available does npot mean that you can't use it as a normal credit/debit card.
You don't have to use your credit card as contactless. Just insert into the card reader and enter your PIN. It doesn't really matter whether your card is contactless or not.
Jennyjoan is worried about losing her card and the finder going on a contactless spending spree with it

Brianiac - cousin rung that number and had to come off after an hour couldn't get through

Barry - that's right am afraid of contactless card being lost and somebody going on a spending spree - I do understand that the bank will reimuburse me (I hope) but don't want to take chances

Ken - that is the thing I DO LOSE LOl - my card and because it is so difficult to get through on the phone I can't take that risk of delay

Santander did have an email system and that was great but they have taken it off.

When you say you lose your card is it actually lost of mislaid? I'm always forgetting where I've left my purse but I know it's in the house.
