My 2008 Macbook Pro is so old it has a value of nil.

Are there any charities who take such ancient machines for the Third World?

Quality items always retain a value. I've got an old Apple Mac in the attic, one of those with a actual tube type screen. Completely unusable in today's terms, but I'm hoping it will cause a stir on antiques roadshow at some point in the future.

Woofy I've loaded Big Sur. It's taken 14 FOURTEEN HOURS.
I thought there must something wrong with my machine but lads next door told me it's usual. Relieved to see everything looks good so far.

I’ll repost when they collect it and discover they meant £9.80.

Not that I don’t trust such companies....
