Help With Amazon.

I am trying to order something from Amazon, and when I get to "Checkout" I get a page saying "To continue, approve the notification sent to --------22" (which is my cell phone# showing only the last two digits) My phone rings and I get a 5 digit number. What am I supposed to do with this number? This must be something new and it's really frustrating

Yes, Buenchico, it's nice to know that I can spend more money on them...But, what the heck, that's what money is for. As an aside, all I was buying was a $20 male/male mic cord to see if I could hook up a Sony Extra Bass Speaker, which we recently won in a Hospital Lottery, to my PC in order to listen to some music. I thank you and the others who responded with suggestions.
