A few small snowflakes falling outside now, won't last.

Most of our neighbours are , like us, are in there 70's.

The three recent deaths were in there 80's.

One I drove to local Bingo and back each week.

I did the shopping for next door , she was bedridden, and Jim was in hospital.

Still, life goes on.

Hi APG, yes, I agree.
Your wife's mother's cousin. Trying to work this out, would that make her your wife's great aunt?
Question Author
It is confusing. The deceased's mother and my wifes grandmother were sisters. My wifes mother and the deceased were cousins.

I think that makes my wife a second cousin, though she always referred to her as an aunt.
2nd cousin twice removed I think, LB. Or something like that.
erm I was thinking first cousin once removed
I mentioned on another thread that a relative of mine, 3rd cousin, passed away yesterday from covid. He was in his early 50s and had been in hospital a few weeks. His wife is also in hospital with covid.

sorry to hear that tiggs.
I'm easily confused PP.
