When I was a school prefect, in charge of the school's two libraries, I had a team of younger boys helping me. One of them was a very cheeky, but very likeable, lad called Nicholas Kershaw. For the -ahem - more senior members of the team - I was at school with Roger Martin who played Terry and June's nephew for a few series, and he also did a dandruff shampoo ad - he no more had dandruff than I look like Dan Stevens!

I was in the same class as Dave Munden the drummer with Brian Poole and the Tremeloes.
And at the same school we also had Dudley Moore ( an ex pupil) to adjudicate
at one of our inter house music festivals
