They used to do it every couple of months, but haven't seen it for a while.

Perhaps they have realised that it means some of us will never pay full price.

I want to get my Christmas dressing gown.

That's bad news.

I need underwear, and there is still nowhere else that beats them. They're not cheap though.

Did Waitrose do their discounts before Christmas for card holders, they used to be quite good, £8 off a £40 shop for instance? Maybe the shops are having to cut back across the board.
