put my mask on ,bathed in sanitiser ,put my hazmat suit on, shopping bags at the ready, all set for the pre christmas shop ..............and aldis was nearly empty ,well stocked , friendly staffxx

Nothing missing from the shelves at local Sainsburys. Staff busy filling up shelves all the time. Was going to go to Lidls but decided I could not face it so came home.

Dreading the crowds after reading reports of queuing at shops at 5 in the morning, I popped to Tesco at 9pm last night. Only wanted a few things and thought I would do self-service but walked straight to a cashier. It was fairly quiet and civil in there but loads of gaps on the shelves in the fruit/salad departments. It's good to be expecting the worst and be pleasantly surprised when it's okay.
