no they don;t get off scott free danny. they seem to think no one should be wealthy, that somehow we should all be the same, well were not, some have money including those on the left, some don't. Barking mad thinking
Allen@ 10.10 I am quite surprised at the 22 answers on this thread by the same person, in support of the Chancellor. When he has just proposed capping and cutting Benefit payments.
allen, you have made your money however that was, don't begrudge others to do the same, i defend sunak only because its' not his wealth but his father in laws.
I am not sure that Sunak "runs our country". In fact, I think few national governments are in control. The world is run by a few very powerful (generally American) multi-national businesses. Also does Sunak being a millionaire have any relevance? Our political elite generally went to public school and a "top" university. Corbyn is an exception as he didn't finish Poly.
drmorgans. Precisely so. My 'running this country' was just shorthand for the current lot who happen to be nominally in charge of world capitalism in this particular backwater...
But it amuses me to point out to all these dopey voters what they are actually voting FOR.
Fortunately, emmie, I don't think the half-dozen or so specimens of my fellow man who infest these columns are actually very representative of anything, apart from themselves and their loony-tunes.
DrMorgans, Corbyn was raised in a large country house and he attended fee-paying schools. He didn't, however, go on to university probably because having attained only two E-grade A-Levels, he wasn't terribly bright. Like Allen, I too wonder if people know what they're voting for.
