Does it exist.I can't make out if I have it or if it's just old age, but I am doing the most ridiculous things. When I was doing my breakfast yesterday, I poured hot water onto my cereal instead of my coffee, and today I had the milk and a bottle of lemonade open near to each other and I put the lemonade top onto the milk and of course it fell in!Grrr. This is just a few stupid things I've done lately, there are lots more. Have you been doing strange things like this?

Sorry Barsel, dozed off! I blame Covid brain on my current lifestyle, due to Covid. There often seems to be a lack of focus in my days at the moment. I get all the normal signs of ageing, forgetfulness, putting things in the wrong place etc. but Covid brain seems to effect my concentration more than usual. However, I am not alone. Some of my friends have the same...

PP I have said a few times that I have not had Covid, last time was at 15.23
Just a little reminder, I haven't actually had Covid, I am referring to it as Covid Brain because I'm wondering if the strange things I'm doing are related to Covid, by way of the restrictions placed on us.
Everhelpful I'm not a he.
Margaret I'm giving you BA as you seem to be the only one that seems to understand what I'm saying.
The only difference is you say you can go out with friends for coffee which is something I can't do as I am in the high end of tier 3 so I cannot mix with friends inside or out.
I am in a bubble with one of my daughters and I see her once every 10days, but if she or her husband or children were to get it, she wouldn't be able to come and see me.
PS I've only just woken up after going for a lie down. :-) x

Thanks for BA. In my normal life I used to go out a lot, so a few coffees is nice but still leaves me with a much changed lifestyle. I used to go line dancing every week and to an exercise class for people with lung conditions once a week. I had monthly meetings with my Breathe Easy group and went on the occasional outing with them and I organised a yearly outing. I used to go to the theatre quite regularly and some of the special ‘event showings’ at the cinema. I had lunches out once or twice a week with friends or relatives. I used to go occasionally to exhibitions at one or other of the local galleries and a monthly Literature lecture at the local theatre. Also attended local events such as ceramic markets, craft fairs etc. I also went on day trips, by coach, to many interesting places. All this had gone and this is the problem I think. I’m just glad I’m not yet in your position!
