What triggers the complete emptying of my email bin on my i6 mobile obviously not someone with a finger on a button?

Deleted items are automatically deleted after a set period, usually 30 days by default.

there should be a thing in settings where you can change stuff like how full it gets, how often it gets emptied, and whether you get asked first
