Called my friend in Australia - they are taking the lockdown very very seriously. Friend only allowed out for one hour a day. Hasn't seen her grandchildren who live beyond 10 kilometres.

I asked her what would happen if she did travel beyond the 10 (think it is) - she said then if you are pulled over by the police - you are automatically fined 1600 dollars.

At least there is consistency there.

All I see is large gatherings at the pub - out in the beer garden and also when smoking.

was that in Victoria? Different states are doing different things but I think those in Victoria have the toughest regime because they were so sloppy originally that a lot more cases broke out.

I do remember Bednobs but am thinking very much it is going to go back to those days very quickly and I will be sad.

Huge variations from state to state ... gatherings of 20 in NSW, 500 in Tasmania, no limit in NT. But they are enforcing them.
How on earth are they going to contain all those kangaroos?
the rabbit proof fence will keep them in their place
