Doing online shopping, I see that some of the items I've selected are on special offer until Sunday, but my shopping slot is 2 weeks away and the items will be normal price.
So even if I pay reduced price now, will Asda add the extra?
If it's a grocery shop, you don't really make that clear, then no as you knew your shopping slot when you purchased (and you usually don't pay until delivery is made )offer time last limits would have been clearly visible at time of your purchase.
Okay. I always do click and collect when the collection time is within 48 hours so haven't had the issue. What I said may be wrong for special offers which expire before delivery date 2 weeks later
Go back in after the offer close date and see if they have renewed the offer, that often happens - if not look for a cheaper product and deduct the other.
I suspect Asda could be considered a grocery shop ;-)
Not so sure about "quite right too". Unless earlier slots were available and rejected by the customer, that is. After all, it's the shop who chooses to offer available delivery slots rather than the customer insisting it must be a fortnight away, after the offer period. So in that case it ought to be when they accept the offer to purchase that counts, not when they get around to delivering the goods and taking the money.
At Tesco if you order something that is on special offer and your delivery date is after a specified date for the offer then you will see "missed offer"beneath that item in your shopping list.
