I don't know what but TV and radio personalities are prone to this on a daily basis. Emily Maitlis has suffered for years with a persistent stalker. All the court injunctions etc seem to have made no difference. There are some very sad and angry people about as we all know.

Nutcase becomes obsessed, obsession turns in harassment, turns into stalking, abuse and then racist abuse, and then jailed.

Seems clear to me.
