Hi Quiz and Puzzlers

Not being a puzzle person myself, I was wondering if you all could tell me what different puzzles regularly feature here? I know crosswords, but what about others?

Thank you!

Hi ED.
Other than the crosswords, I'd say anagrams and riddles would be the next 2 main ones.
Do I detect the possibility of sub-sections ??
It's generally crosswords (mostly the cryptic variety but quickies and general knowledge also feature) - and quiz questions, often from the numerous charity quizzes that are run throughout the country - which can also be cryptic.

Have yet to see a plea (thank goodness!) for a line from a sudoku grid...

thanks for that - i tried doing a Sodoku once - didn't get very far if I remember correctly. I think my skills only take me as far as word searches!

yep guinessman - threshing out the possibilities at the mo.
Was that a Freudian misspelling of sudoku...? :)
Hi ED , quite a few people are asking for help with Diltoids as well .
regards
Question Author
don't think it was a freudian slip, just poor spelling! and from a former Spelling Bee winner, too....the shame...xx

thanks bridgenut!
Hi Ed

I have seen a few requests for a section advertising new/charity quizzes. I would certainly like to see that

Kind regards

What about Qwizzle and the like?
Hi Ed
I seem to remember last November there were several questions from the CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) Quiz. I posted an enquiry about it and was told it came out in November each year and had to be in by mid-Jan.
Hi Ed. I would like to see a section for 'advertising' quizzes. This should show name/charity, closing date, cost and on entry to a particular quiz line it should show where and how to apply for a copy. Thanks Carrie
