How To Watch Bbc1 (England) In Scotland

Sorry, I know nothing about Firestick. Why can't he have a satellite dish? If it's rented property and the landlord won't let him fix one he could use a portable system (as used by campers). I have a dish which fits on a tripod and a decoder which I use when the terrestrial signal is weak.

I have a Firestick through which I access BBC I-player. Obviously, because I live in England, it is set to English programmes. However, should I so wish, if I wanted to watch programmes from BBC Scotland, all I have to do is scrawl across the channel selection at the top of the page. I don't know if I-player is tuned into BBC Scotland, north of the border, but if so, just select BBC England.

Ken, I live in England and can watch BBC Scotland on Freeview so I am not sure that will work.

TTT, the related information on your link states "Unfortunately, it's not possible to watch programmes from another region on your TV. This is because your aerial receives signal from your nearest transmitter, which only broadcasts programming for your particular region."

Remember he will need broadband for internet to use a fire stick. Then he still needs to know how to watch bbc England be it on tv or fire stick
