Ha Ha, I recall my parents visiting when we lived in Gib, at 11pm OH stood up and said Let's get ready. My Dad stood up too and said, Yes, I'm ready for bed too. We had to explain that we were going out!
In 2010 I ran the London Marathon and headed off on the tube train to watch the football afterwards. A kind young man offered me his seat and I politely declined and explained I was getting off at the next station. He asked me why time I did, 4 Hours 14 minutes I replied. Wow, he said, you did much better than my friend, and you're way older than him ( I was 43 at the time.....)
My brother in law who was 50 at the time was followed by a young attractive girl in Boots the chemist, after about a minute she came towards him and said "hello!", she then asked "I was wondering if you'd be interested in our discounted hearing aids!" He was a tad deflated!
