Seen plenty online stuff about court cases whereby spouses have killed their partner etc because of lockdown restrictions etc. (and NO, I cant be bothered to provide links)
Been stuck in my flat with my son for 4 days is enough. Arguements galore...glad to be back at work! Cant imagine been stuck with either a nagging women or bullying husband (or teenage kids) for more than a few days.
Always said that man(kind) is a social animal. But we all need a bit of space as well.
How is everyone finding it??

All hunky dory in our house.Wife went out for a walk yesterday with youngest son in the park. She normally swims three times a week at the pool next door to us but now goes for walks round the block instead. I bimble around the house and have been out once to the shops in the last three weeks.I am making do and cook.We have three freezers which were well stocked so am experimenting with new recipes to avoid visits to the shops. I am losing weight and don't miss the pub as I stopped back in early January. Things get done which have been put off which is satisfying. I feel sorry for those who are losing it and can't cope. I often wondered if I would of ever volunteered for the Submarine Service in the last World War. Now I have an idea what partial isolation involves. At least I can open a door and go in the garden. I can do another 3 weeks if necessary but wish that line on the graph would start dipping very soon. My only grief is for those who have lost loved ones before their time.
I suppose we must be lucky. We're both relaxed and easy going. I have my workroom with lots of sewing to be done. Latest ask is for scrubs. Never done that but will give it a go.
Dave has his office where he plays with his techy toys, does crosswords and deals with all the legal stuff we've had of late.
We are surrounded by woodland so lots of birds and hares to watch as well as the sheep and cows either side.
Maybe if we were cooped up in a small flat things would be different so as I said we're lucky....and of course being in Ireland is bliss.....
Plus Dave has stopped doing his bloody Brian Blessed impressions..... now that could lead to murder.....:-)
So reports of a large object floating off the South of Ireland were nothing to do with you. btw Scrubs are easy, no zips and only the neckline is a bit of a fiddle to get flat
A lot of people on here are retired so living a sort of lockdown life isn't much different to what they are used to.
Ahh....so you saw the Coastguard flying over today, Rowan... ;-)
no I miss a bit of company
and get lonely when I am alone
Very easy except for watching the bank balance disappear.
Working seven days a week! Might as well no pubs open!! Getting a few people saying you are doing well nice to get compliments off customers, couldn't stay at home I been bored.
Wife walks. I paint, read, iPad, eat, sleep. Occasional go to a bench at a deserted beach. Feel restricted and criminalised for taking flask of tea to beach, even though there’s only my wife and me and the odd fly, you know the one.....
