Does anyone know what has happened with this site. You cannot seem to find old films, film stars, casts. I used it last week to check up on something but today it bears no resemblance to IMdb I have used for years.

They've changed the format, but just type your query into the search box (left of the magnifying glass at the top) & the results screen allows you to refine the search - Name, Title, etc.

Rather than use Imdb's own search facility, I simply typed 'imdb some like it hot' and 'imdb james cagney' into a Google serarch. I got to the relevant pages without any difficulty.

I used to like it, but they’ve tinkered with it endlessly and for me at least it’s not worth bothering with anymore.
