Lets face it COB has had it. With all the problems in the Tory party labour should be walking it - but it isn't.

McDonnell is most likely running the show anyway o not much of a coup if he goes a bit further. However I suspect there will be others that will want a go, Thornberry, aka Lady Nugee.

yes, well they are the main Tory weapon at the moment! With the goal open Jezza ain't even on the pitch!
One often wonders what the political landscape would be now if 'Ed stone' Millipede hadn't knifed Bavid 'The banana; millipede sqrely in the back.
Question Author
Well Millipede senior was a Noo Labour luvvie so I guess we'd have Tory v Tory lite!
one hopes that one of the casualties will be Seumas Milne.....
I think you’ll find John McDonnell would be a much more redoubtable foe to the Tories for than the nice but hapless Corbyn.
Someone said it was like Franco, whose body was frozen after he died for a while, but was still officially the leader. Corbyn’s effectively being frozen out, but kept in place. McDonnell doesn’t want his chance of power stymied by the current leader.
I have maintained since he was elected - by default - that Corbyn is unelectable as a party leader, and the party would do well to ditch him before an election.

It looks like that are accepting that losing this election is a foregone, so they can ditch him afterwards, it's not likely he will resign.
Question Author
AH, surely Cob was elected anything other than by default, I mean he had to win it twice didn't he?
