I wonder if this is being watched by some who were affected by the Japs in the second world war, i.e. children of the allied troops. I am now watching the Smithsonian channel on Sky which has been showing film of the Americans fighting on Okinawa. It is shocking. Some people can never forget.
I reckon that those who still are alive and suffered at the cruelty of the Japanese are entitled not to forgive and forget.Likewise those who fought and suffered against the Nazis.
I like to think we can now rub along in harmony and respect our elders sacrifices and nightmares but regard it as water under the bridge.
Lets confine our conflict to the Rugger pitch from now on. More entertaining in my opinion.
