Well they say we need to cut down on plastic waste, but I don't think manufacturers are to bothered about doing so. I already have a ceramic container for the brush, so I only need to buy a new brush, as and when. But oh no, in most shops you are forced to purchase the cheap and flimsy plastic container that's just going straight in the bin, its that crap I wouldn't bother putting a plant in it outside. Rant over. :0(

Plastic is just one example of mankind's stupidity. They invent a material which will last for ever - then use it to manufacture throwaway items by the million.

You can get some good items from B&M but I do think there also responsible for a lot of plastic junk.
Lynne but none for sale at the moment.
This is dearer but they do exist.

Amazon.com User Recommendation
Wilko sell just toilet brushes without container. They have stainless steel handles, quite trendy !!
You can buy brushes without the container from Amazon, and most high street hardware shops.
Lynne that looks good even if a bit pricey

Did get from Wilko in the end, got fed up of looking, but again cheap plastic that won't last five mins.
You can buy replacement toilet brush heads (just the head) to use with your handle.
Where's the free plastic ?
