My daughter has just phoned to say the woman who picked up her purse has handed it in to the bank. Wish she had done it sooner though as I went out to buy my daughter a new purse and put &20 in it for her to replace her driving licence.:-) Ah well, all's well that ends well and my faith is restored. x

There are more nice people than there are horrid ones Barsel ,
A nice end to the story Barsel.
Good to hear.I think the majority of people are decent and honest.

You're probably right Bobbi. It's just that we hear more about people who have done bad things than those who do good things. The woman left her name and number with the bank, so my daughter will phone her later to thank her for her kindness.
It’s the same with customer service Barsel ,I worked being one, we remembered the awful customers but not the nice ones as there was more of the latter
Oops, more awful ones

It's always the same Bobbi. My daughters can probably tell me word for word things I said to them when they were naughty children but have no recollection of the nice things I did or said when they weren't being naughty.
Yep the nasties win out but only for a fleeting moment thankfully :0)
Good :-). The lady was probably just busy. It would probably take me 2 days to hand in something, even with every intention xx

Pixie that's what I said. The nearest police station is quite a way away, but my daughters' bank card was in her purse and so it was handed into her bank. x
Nice result, well done her.
Fab news!
When I found a purse some years ago, I handed it in to the local police station (where they wanted all my details) and went home. About an hour later there was a knock at the door and there stood a middle-aged lady with a nice pot plant, a thank-you card and tears in her eyes.
She thought she'd seen the last of her purse and contents and was quite overjoyed to get it back. (The pot plant is still going strong!)
So pleased person done the right thing. There are still some decent people out there!
Good to hear this, it nice to hear a happy ending story.
I once left my wallet at a motorway services - obviously cancelled all my cards etc. Some kind person handed it in but it didn't turn up at my local police station until 3 weeks later. Credit card suppliers wouldn't disclose my address & the only contactable member of my family was away on holiday.
Good. I'm told I'm daft, but I persist in my belief that most people are basically good and honest and I meet every new person with that belief to the fore. Mostly, people live up to expectation. Pleasing story.
