No, I really don't want to say.

No, I'm definitely NOT telling you my score this week.

No way!

Not a chance!

My lips are sealed.

Some things are just too embarrassing to mention, aren't they?

I can't possibly tell you!

Oh, go on then, since it's you - but you won't spread it around, will you?

I scored a massive ONE out of 7 this week!

Any takers?

Thanks for keeping me company, Caran!

We've got Prudie and Twix123 in the doghouse with us too ;-)
I got a healthy 4.
Chris glad I didn't the lottery tonight.
Well done moz
Question Author
Well done, Mozz - A LOT better than me!
My usual 3. Two of those were guesses. The only one I knew was the watches banned in exams.
Question Author
Everyone seems to be saying that they knew the watches answer, Clover. How come I didn't then? Perhaps it's because i HATED invigilating exams? I always wanted to shout "Boo!" as loud as I could ;-)

3's still a lot better than my score, anyway!
Jeremy Vine done a bit on radio 2 Chris about the watch thing in exams. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have had a clue !!
Question Author
Oh well, that explains it, Sam.

If there's a world record for getting to the 'Off' switch on a radio after the midday news on Radio 2, I probably hold it ;-)
lol ; ))
Only thing I could take into exams were log tables for maths and science. My brother would have suggested slide rule, but I couldn't get the hang of them.
Question Author
Slide rules were essential when I took A-level Maths, TonyV (and, indeed, when I did my teacher training). I reckon I could still remember how to use one!

I bought my first calculator with my first month's pay from teaching in 1975. It cost a small fortune!
Chris stupid thing was when I did my HNC you could take calculator into exam room, so you were able to check your results if you wanted too.
6/7 - got the last one wrong. Someone earlier gave the answer to Q2 and i guessed at Q5.

Ruddy 'eck, Ken!

Another joint leader!

Well done!
Oh, i'm not that smart, Chico. I read about the football team giving the cricketer a gift and still got it wrong:-//
Question Author
It's hard for one's brain to combine unimportant trivia (such as football) with matters of life and death significance (such as cricket) though, isn't it, Ken?

;-)
2. But have been out of the country for 11 days so have a mild excuse...
Question Author
>>> have been out of the country for 11 days

. . . but you still scored DOUBLE what I did, Campbellking! Grrr!

;-)
