How Do You Greet A Person

I hate it when they kiss you on both cheeks and give you a cuddle,how can I avoid this????

i don't like air kisses they are so false especially when the kiss comes with the moir noise(or what ever it is ) .luckily only one person i know does this the rest are genuine hugs and kisses xxxxxxx

thank you everyone for your output,it's seems to have become popular over the past few years,the reason I don't like it very much is people bend over me in the scooter and I just have to accept it,I don't feel I have any choice or just tell them'to get off'

Depends on who it is, long time girl / women friends probably a kiss and a cuddle, long time male mates probably hows ya gooin or summat like that.

I come from a tactile family and am still tactile with family andclose friends. My few close friends are tactile. I suppose I just am drawn to tactile people. I hate those awful artificial kisses on both cheeks!

If I know someone well I will give them a hug , no kisses but I usually gauge if they are going to allow a hug or not and respond accordingly. In my life I have been made aware that there are some people who don't receive any affection and you may be the only person to show them any .

I just don't like it. For me kisses and hugs are special, even intimate greetings that I will share with the people I choose. I think it is rude in the extreme of people to expect others to accept touching and personal space invasion.

Kate in your circs I would use two words and the second one would be "off" the first word would not be "get"
