In 2010 when the Tories took office, £1 in £4 of government spending was borrowed, today it is £1 in £34. Anyone still want Labour?

Yes, indeed the early Labour years were a continuation of -- or perhaps even a tightening of -- Major's efforts. But the rest of the data still shows an important truth, namely that Labour borrowing was only particularly awful immediately in the wake of the 2008 crash. That also carried forward to the Coalition years.
