I always liked Freddie Starr ,I thought he was a comic genius, sadly he has gone and now it starts, why didn’t all these accusations come out when he was alive giving him a chance to defend himself, and before Baldric asks I can’t give details as I am on my iPad.
teacake - // Here we go again, the great British pastime, drag a star down that's given millions of people great entertainment. But not allowed to have to have a few off days, or make any mistakes. //
I think everyone should be allowed a few off days, and to make mistakes.
What I cannot agree with is the notion that giving millions of people pleasure as an entertainer gives you credit in the morality bank, and that somehow allows you a pass to behave badly.
It just proves how different we all are in our tastes,
Wolfgang you didn’t find Freddie funny yet I found him hilarious, and yes it would be a funny world if we were all the same.
I never used to be a fan until he appeared on This Morning as an agony aunt. He was hilarious. He was a bit forced on me as well as OH loves Celebrity Juice. Now I like him, his humour is just silly.
