I just can't get my head round the reason why people pay a lot more to buy already grated cheese, I could understand up to a point an older person who may have arthritic hands/ fingers that it would be helpful, other than that what a waste of money.

I never knew you could get frozen onions. I'll try them.
Is frozen mash as nice as 'home made', would you say? (never had that either)

Some frozen mash is excellent, needs a bit of seasoning and butter but a real boon if you only need a little and quickly.

Frozen carrot and swede mash is good too.

No it's frozen in cubes/chunks or cylinder shapes so you can cook as much or as little as you need.

Frozen mash is surprisingly alright. I buy it when I go on holiday and leave the boys to fend for themselves.

I buy frozen mash as I only have a couple of teaspoons and it’s good, just add butter and seasoning

Loved Smash when I was a kid. Bought some when I was grown up, (sort of). It was horrible.
