You know when you purchase an item online - you are sometimes given a choice re postage

like £1.99, £3.99 etc

what actually happens does the sender refrain from sending quicker per se

I have tracked an online purchase and it has been sitting in north west RDC - is that an English post office or northern ireland from Monday 11 March - should it not have arrived by now - postman just gone.

thanks Togo - do you think it should have been here - I did pay only £1.99 postage.
Does your tracker still show it as there or in transit. Don't forget that if it was coming by ferry that the recent storms may have created the delay.

ok Togo - tracker just says it's on its way but it has been saying that from Monday.
£ 3.99 may have ensured it came by air Jenny......unless it is a new car. (^_*)
Phone Royal Mail Customer services , give them the tracking number and they will advise

have contacted sender - it is to do with me being mean and paying the bare postage. LOL

anyway another wee question for you

if you pay say £4.99 and this tells you next day delivery - how on earth do they manage to deliver so quick ie England to Northern Ireland.
....I had an item direct from Philips in The Netherlands. Ordered on Thursday morning......arrived Friday morning - less than 24 hours by DPD, and no carriage costs at all!
