Filing A Document

I am trying to save a letter to go into the File of a site.

Because I typed and saved the letter under Abiword2.8 - this file wont accept this saying I don't have word which I don't

They have told me I'm allowed to save it under

png, jpg jpge pdf docx, doc

Anybody point me to what I can do. Thanks

You'll need to have a your word processing software with a blank page open, then load your by bill into that page and then save that with whatever extension you want. Rereading my answer, it maybe not be to clear, if you need anymore advice just ask.

Or you may just be able to do a file save as and choose the extension you want. Easier than my previous answer and a lot less long winded.

Tony when I bring up the bill there is nowhere I can see to file it - it is a BT bill.

Ok Jenny, you are just viewing bill then? You'll need to load it to your word processing package then as per my first answer. It's really difficult not being familiar with your word processing package. But where there's a will there's normally a way.
