I have been unkind to my hands recently using quite abrasive cleaners etcwithout gloves. At the moment I'm typing with plastic gloves with smothered cream inside. Have all day.

Anyway need to buy gentle handwash and hand conditioner. Got to look after my hands a bit better. Thanks

i know you are all helping me with the moisturising of the hands but it is actually more a good gentle handwash.

Yes pasta when my hands were cracked from concrete dust and wet they were really good. Should have kept wearing pvc gloves, but you can't "feel" with them on.
Ok try something from boots then
Holland and Barratt Dr Organics Manuka Honey skin range including soap and body wash ( and their skin rescue cream is amazing).

There are plenty of gentle hand washes out there JJ, just don't get the ones that are antibacterial. I find they make my skin crack, become rough and sore.
Another vote for Dr Organics. The products are all natural and soothing, very good quality, long lasting, so although a but more expensive than the supermarket brands, they are good value for money, and above all, they all smell soooo lovely!

Anti-bac anything is evil stuff - don't touch it with a barge-pole.
As previously stated Aqueous Cream is a substitute soap and was recommended to me by a hospital dermatologist years ago for dry skin. It does actually lather but has no nasties in it. I have, a few times ,used it as a substitute shaving soap. I shower with it regularly.
