I totally sympathise the dislike of the “how” : plainly many people on both sides of the argument agree on that. But the end result is definitely “Brexit”.

That, according to May, all depends on what you mean by Brexit, if the people don't shout for it, it might be in name only.
Don't want to make fun this is a good thread ...but Gulliver are you Diane Abbott?
If Labour oppose the deal it hasn't got a cat in hell's chance of getting through.
i try not to be pessimistic, but this deal could get through, i don;t know why i feel that, but we should know soon enough i guess.
Who would replace her. Not one of them is up to scratch. HORIS GOVE REES MOGG> Horror of horrors. Corbyn waiting in the wings to bring disaster to the country. Very worrying times.
Boris gave a rousing speech, very Churchillian to the DUP, they lapped it up.
Just because Remainers have a different view of what is best for the UK doesn't mean that they don't want what is best for the UK.

And, as the last two years have demonstrated in spades, this wasn't it.
no it wasn't.... ^^^
Very sadly, I think this deal will go through!
That's it for either ever or a generation.
Boris Churchillian, lol.

Here he is trying to learn his lines - I wonder if Winston ever looked quite this good?

'Lord North is often held to be Britain’s worst ever prime minister because he was the one that lost America.
But I really think this claim does the current incumbent a terrible disservice. Lord North, after all, has been vindicated by history: Britain and America have thrived since their divorce. No one, though, is ever going to be able to view Theresa May kindly with hindsight, no matter how many aeons pass.

Theresa May is without question the worst prime minister in British history.

Sure there have been more insidiously evil ones (Tony Blair), more grotesquely overrated ones (Clement Atlee), more corrupt ones (Harold Wilson), more downright useless squishy ones (Ted Heath), more ineffectual ones (Dave).

No one, though, has been more perfect at doing the wrong thing every single time without fail than Theresa May. And no single person bears more responsibility for the excruciatingly rubbish Brexit strategy.'

his speech went down very well with the DUP, who are entirely gullible people, i didn't say he was Churchill, who also had a mass of faults, but Boris could lead this country out of the mess that its got itself into.
that was a misprint, this computer is playing silly beggars, that of course should say
" who are NOT entirely gullible people."

That's slightly like thinking you might be the Anti-Christ but actually it turns out you're just Piers Morgan- it's usually a good thing :/
