...to one of the Halloween threads..but it's a bit special....
After lots of lovely and clever visitors my last was unusual.
A teen...early teens....being taken around our little estate by his mum in her car...just stopping at houses with welcome signs....
She brought him, in a fantastic costume, to the door and before long I realised he has slight special needs..perhaps autistic....
Mum chatted to him about what was happening as I slowly opened the door on my witch....helped him choose some treats and then to interact with both me and the witch....and to say thank you....
I was a bit, Ark...til I realised what mum was doing...in the most lovely and cheery way.....x
I think communication can be difficult for autistic children, Denton? So for mum to being doing this in a fun and no pressure way must help I think....x
