My solicitor rang me up today to "confirm" what exactly happened on the day of my accident.

Now she has a 3 page document re the accident in front of her that I composed and gave to her in the beginning and a police report confirming the accident as well. So she said some things opposite of the report. When I said to her that "such and such happened" - oh that's good - the driver is saying such and such.

Can anybody tell me why the solicitor rang me when she has the report and also has phoned me twice to confirm what happened that day.

I have never been with a solicitor before so don't know how they operate.

I'd guess that whoever your claiming against is telling a different story or disputing what actually happened, conne.
One factor will be that the solicitor will hope to get back maybe £200 for the 3 phone calls

that's right Tony - the driver is telling a completely different story - however what way does it go - her story or mine.

Because she is from the south of Ireland the case is lying with the MIB
Don't suppose that you know what is in the police report do you, conne ?.

No I don't know what's in the report Tony but in the beginning it was mentioned that I collapsed in the middle of the road but at an interview myself with a policewoman - she confirmed that | was hit by the car.
No details of the circumstances to which you were hit by the car ?.
Was there any witnesses to the accident.
// Because she is from the Republic, the case is lying with the MIB//
