The best fancy dress parties are the ones where the lights go out and everyone grabs what they can find from the centre of the room - I still have nightmares about Uncle Herbert in a Playtex girdle and a grass skirt.

Problem being when the lights go back on again everyone has grabbed what they wanted and the room is empty. :0)
Of corset is, peter.. a.dirndl:)
That did happen on occasion, dignity was lost and they were banished to the kitchen.
