Monday. All is calm outside, 19°C, quite warm for the time of day. Looking good for the rest of it.

Yesterday I went to the Winstones Ice cream factory on Minchinhampton Common to stock up the freezer in the CCT visitor Centre at Saul Junction. I hadn't been there for several years as the CCT managers that usually do it are on holibobs in Ireland, so that left me to do it. The girl in the office remembered me. We had a good old natter while the order was put into my car. She gave me twenty quid for my skydive. Lovely people. That reminds me that I have to take the invoice to the CCT office in Stroud.

I have a hospital appointment at 1700, the hearing clinic in Gloucester Royal Hospital. I think I'll go early and have a meal in the excellent restaurant there.

That's today sorted.

I can already see from you photo your colouring is wrong for black, navy is much better but next time you hit the shops try a really dark green or a beautiful warm dark brown

Royal blue is for winters, take it off a bit towards heliotrope softer is better. But I get your thinking. From the photos on Facebook your Vera was a cool summer, I bet the right shades of blue looked lovely on her
