Saturday.The sky is clear, so I'll go to the farmer's market today, a couple of things I need. After that I have no idea. but I'm sure something will occur.

It's quite pleasent out, but a lot cooler.

chaotic here as we have 50k in for the Boardmasters surfing fest....the police are having a field day out on the A30 at Roche, pulling folk in and 'inspections' - some 7 arrests already, 5 cars seized and 50 traffic offences and 1 red diesel one....(always one who tries!)

The police 'seizures' interests me DTC as I was part of the team that set up the motor insurance database. Nationally, the police are seizing and, in many cases, destroying around 150,000 vehicles a year. There'd be so much more with a proper police presence on our roads.

only a matter of when..not if.. non insured/taxed vehicles are caught nowadays..must be scanned several times daily ...the days of the beer mat tax disc have gone !

For a while Minty, seized uninsured cars were being collected from the compounds by mates' using their own insurance. Fortunately, that loophole has now been closed.
