4x25 for me this month
No real good luck stories from the rest of the winners either. I like to read about someone with a few bonds for a long time wining something big. Not this month though

It's a numbers game Fraser, how many have you got?

Frazer - you need to check - you could get a nice surprise
I got £1,050 last month plus, for the first time, a bonus £25 due to someone else having an ineligible bond. Haven't checked August's yet, but I fear I have used up my quota of luck.
2 x £25 this month.
1x £50 for me.
Just checked. £75 this month, so luck hasn't run out then.

Arrods - tell us more about the ineligible bonds

Also two people in Australia won something! Now that’s not fair - these bonds are like a consulation prize for living here
When you purchase these Bonds in lump sums, ie say £2000 do you get consecutive numbers as you would buying raffle tickets, or are the Bonds numbers randomly computer generated. I have a small savings account with £5000 on 0.95% interest. I'm wondering if it would be worth a punt changing them to Bonds. I've bought Bonds for children over the years but not one has ever won anything. I have two bonds bought in the 1950's ( not by me) and still waiting for the big pay out!
I have 4 from the 50s, never won a penny on them. I live in hope, though :D
Yes, consecutive numbers, lydia
I stopped putting money into a savings account a few years ago.I now put it into Premium Bonds and so far I have a much better return.
Ric. Sorry for delay - have been on my travels. I think ineligible bonds have something to do with bonds for deceased persons that have been left in the draw longer than the 12 months allowed. I believe there is another category which escapes me for the moment.
Apparently, the other reason (official) is that a bond becomes ineligible if it's cashed in - which I would have thought was pretty obvious.
A bond also becomes illegible if the holder has been dead for more than 12 months.
