I recently invested in PB's as interest rates elsewhere are cr*p
Now my chances of winning from August are less!! May just leave it under the mattress!

I started investing in Premium Bonds a few months ago and have been quite happy with the results. Didn't know about these changes.
Had some right from the beginning. Never won a thing and don't exactly know where they are at the moment. In a safe place I expect.

Same as Meg, won £25 in my second month with £5000, which is a better interest rate than my ISA is going to get, now got £15k into the August draw, fingers crossed?
I was bought P/B when they were introduced back in the 50's and have never won a penny.

Even with the reduced chances I still think it is better than a BS and any winnings are TAX FREE!
I have won £25 about 12 times since Jan 2011, have had pb's for about 15 years and have won regularly over that time, most being £100. So I consider I have done ok with them

Apparently there are £m's of unclaimed prizes for those who have had bonds for years......check it out
