Are you pleased that Russia is out of the World Cup? An EU country will now lift the trophy, a magnificent achievement gained through hard work and cooperation, making us all part of the winning team. I hope Theresa May will change her mind about leaving and continue to share our talent and skills with the rest of Europe.

Well it is true that only EU members are left in the World Cup.
Actually it shows that European football is the strongest in the world. It’ll have been 20 years come Qatar since a non European country won.
And if Belgium meet Croatia in the final it’ll be the first all-newbie affair since Italy v Czechoslovakia in 1934.
So there :-)

I'm a bit worried about next Sunday. The WC final clashes with the Wimbledon men's final. Imagine for a second England get there, everyone on Centre Court will have their eyes glued on their phones. Roger could be serving for the championship while there are gasps, cheers or groans all around him which have nothing to do with his magnificent achievement.

Football final starts at 4pm our time. Tennis final at 2pm. So yes hopefully Fed will have it done before the conclusion of the footie, but it could still be distracting - to me at least. I've got tickets for the tennis.

If we win it should improve the feelgood factor and indirectly 'we can be ok on our own' message. It might be the real Brexit dividend
