Would You Give 1-Year-Old A Can Of Coke?

I was utterly speechless just now in Lidl. A little girl, no older that a year, drinking a can of regular Coca Cola. She was accompanied by two people, only one of whom could really be the parent. The young girl was about 14 or 15 but the chap with them was late forties, early 50s. They were ROUGH... It's anyone's guess whose daughter she was, but I could not believe that between them they thought it was a good idea to give a can of coke to such a young infant. Heaven knows what they feed the poor mite but I suspect chicken nuggets and Haribo are part of her 5-a-day.

What are your thoughts?

There used to be something called 'Salad Spread' in a jar, that a lot of children ate - it was bits of salad vegetables mixed up in Salad Cream, so there must have been some vitamins etc. in it.

I used to have Coleslaw sandwiches when I was little, lived on them in fact they were nom nom nom

I drank fizzy drinks from the age of 5, 41 years later I still have my own teeth.
Oh and my parents could both read and write.

Yes, I remember heinz sandwich spread. It wasnt that that he had in his sandwiches every day though, just normal heinz salad cream.
