Nothing grinds me so much as waiting for workmen to turn up - in the beginning they refuse to name a time - then when you ring - oh I'll be there in half an hour - 3 hours have passed.

No wonder I try and do the work myself. Grrrrr and Grrrrr again.

No it doesn't annoy me as I never let it get that far - if they refuse to give a time - they don't get the job as simple as that!

As the mother of a son who has his own business in plastering and rendering it is not always possible to give an exact time as sometimes the previous job might run over due to weather conditions but he does always inform the person that he will be delayed by approxtime .
