It's really upsetting and jarring when you come across someone's immortality online, especially here where a lot of us were so close to various people. I find it with Fred Puli a lot a

and I know my Dad was close to a fair few people now gone. I like that something of them, of what they were and thought are still here though, but yeah very sad to think they are no longer with us

I have known ALL of those mentioned but i have to be honest in saying that I have missed them or feel sad.
I have never met any of them.

Is that a pre-requisite for you for missing people? I've met lots of people. some of whom are dead who I don't miss at all.

I have just spent an enjoyable time reading some of Mrs Overall's "tales of the village" of which I have somehow missed in the past.

I don't know how long back they go, but I think that they should be all put together in order for us all to read.

Weren't they fantastic, AOG.....I don't know how many of you know that writing those was one way MrsO passed long nights on dialysis and she was unable to sleep....always so cheery however ill she was....
And Sibs kept her illness quiet too and was always so lovely on here....x

I miss some of the folk who are no longer posting.....those I met and those I didn't......and Sqad....I'm sure you've mentioned missing long gone posters who were more fun and entertaining than those posting now.... ;-)
