I phoned our favourite Indian restaurant to make a booking for 8 people on Sunday. They say they are closed due to kitchens being refurbished.
I would have thought they would have checked the dates before organising refurbs.
They are going to be losing an awful lot of money.

Not my idea also of a typical Sunday lunch.
We have been going here for a good number of years as a family, it's not a typical restaurant, it's a family run hotel that cooks Indian food.
We went there for my birthday in December, the boss gave me a bottle of wine as a pressie.
Head waiter fancies my eldest granddaughter and always give her a bottle of wine.

Maybe the refurbishment was expected to be completed before Mothering Sunday and got delayed.
Maybe they had no choice, perhaps the health authorities made them close the kitchen and get it refurbished?
