just thinking about our friend Mikey this morning, his last comment last week & the poor soul not knowing it was going to be his last post, do you ever think tomorrow will be your last tomorrow? or will you be here tomorrow? does it frighten you or do you not think about it, I'm not being morbid but it just occurred to me when looking back at some of the posts on here.

do you ever think tomorrow will be your last tomorrow?

Nope.
You could weigh yourself down with these thoughts TWR, I have done so at times but decided to ignore and make the most of life as best I can. Don't waste you're very precious energy. x

The only time I think about that Pasty, if I've started a job for someone, I'd hate it if I could not finish it.
Whenever there's a death of someone that made an impact in your life it's natural your mind wanders to your own mortality.

The best approach I find is to try to let thoughts be positive and spur me on to make the best of the rest of the time.
Oh you're a worried! Actually, that happened to us once. A friend of the family drilled some holes in kitchen wall to put a electric clock up. Said he'd pop back up the next day........ :-(
^^^^^^^^
Worrier..
No
Afternoon, Sweetie......I don't worry at all......sometimes I think.....if I don't live to finish this quilt nobody else will......

Friends my age are discouraged from saying......I'm having a new car/stair carpet/lawn mower....this one'll see me out..... :-)
I don't think about it but I am of an age where tomorrow could indeed be my last tomorrow. What will be will be.
Not every day but I do think " will this be my last Christmas/ birthday ?/ but low and behold still here :-)

Hi my apple, I've been told " Your not worried are ya" maybe concerned regards finishing off something I've started, but as Danny, what will be will be. xx
No not even worried a little bit - even Mikey should have expected what happened really - he must have known it could happen as he was putting off treatment and quite a bit oerweight by the sound of it.
no it doesn't make me think. The only time I ever had such a thought was when I was living in America. There was just the two of us and we were newly there. DH was traveling all over the world for his job a lot and it was 20 plus years ago so no cheap phonecalls or facetime. mail was delivered to a box at the post office and we didn't get a newspaper delivered It did occur to me that in the whole of the US there was no one who would notice if I had an accident or was very ill....but there was nothing I could do about it.

Never worry about it, it will happen one day, 'Que Sera, Sera'
Yes, when a friend or colleague dies, it brings it home to me that each day could be my last. It doesn't make me anxious or fearful but aware of the fragility of life. Despite all the technological advances and the so-called brilliance of the human mind, none of us know the day or the hour of our death.
Live every day as if it is your last. One day you will be right.
