Chest compressions or cpr, what do you do if when doing this blood is pouring out from each chest compression you do?

Stop? Cover the hole and continue?

Pouring out from where?
If someone else is with you let them cover the hole. You are probably not going to have any success unless an
ambulance arrives to give iv volume replacement. If you stop the blood coming out it will fill the chest cavity and you will fail anyway. I have seen people survive after massive blood loss and if they are 'dead' anyway you are not going to make things worse. If in doubt remember the ABC. Airway, breathing, circulation. In that order.

Glad you asked that 237, I was just trying to work out the possibilities myself.

Anywhere in the body.

I’m intrigued at knowing whether we keep carrying on or stop which then might be conterproductive someone’s survival.
Good point. I assumed a chest wound, my fault. if the blood is coming from elsewhere if you can get someone to apply direct pressure to a bleeding point better still.

Rw,let’s say it is a chest and possibly a heart wound, do we carry on?

Blood to the brain is the objective as you know but if blood is pouring out of a chest or heart wound, do we keep chest compressions going even though we’re pushing more blood out of the body?
If you stop they will die
Well if you stop chest compressions, the person is going to die anyway
From what you have described, it doesn't matter which you do.......the prognosis is extremely poor.......they will die.
Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Blood and Bones.
I believe is the order. Without heart beating then all else fails anyway and the person is dead.
