HIV? No, it says here Colds and flu, probably not, for the same reasons.

very good article Mibn, not least for the fact that the chance of a mosquito transmitting HIV by the 2nd method at 1 in 10 million is rightly deemed beyond statistical probability. However, it is much more likely to happen than a jackpot lottery ticket (1 in 14 million)

well, after reading that article (which i assume was meant to confirm that you cannot get HIV via a mosquito), it actually made me think that in fact you could, though the chances are pretty slim
